Lok Takrar Niwaran Diwas

As per the circular number DGP/23/54/Grievance/1112/ dated 22nd June, 2012 of the Director General of Police, Maharashtra State, Mumbai, a Grievance Redressal Day is organized in every police station of the Commissionerate every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

On the day of Grievance Redressal Day, the Officer-in-Charge of the Police Station as well as maximum number of Investigating Officers and Anmaldars assigned to the Police Station are present in the police station, due to which maximum number of complaints of complainants are redressed.

Similarly, the Divisional Assistant Commissioner of Police also attends one of the police stations in the division on the day of the said Grievance Redressal Day and keeps control.

The Zonal Deputy Commissioner of Police is present in his office from 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM from Monday to Friday to meet the public and also redress the complaints of complainants.
