Abandoned Vehicles Notice - Mira-Bhayander-Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate

As of February 08, 2025, a total of 869 vehicles have been declared abandoned within the jurisdiction of the Mira-Bhayander-Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate. This declaration follows an exhaustive search of the registration numbers of motor vehicles deposited in all police stations and with the Traffic Department, wherein the owners of these vehicles could not be located.

The comprehensive list of these abandoned vehicles, which includes their registration or chassis numbers, is now available on the official website of the Police Commissionerate.

Anyone wishing to claim ownership of these vehicles should personally visit the relevant police station listed, with the original documents of the concerned vehicles, to complete the process and take possession. Please note that these vehicles will be officially declared abandoned and will be auctioned on 25/02/2025.

For more information, you may contact the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic Office, at 8655727612.
